Hello everyone!
I hope you're all ok, & sorry it's taken me so long to get my bum in enough gear to post another blog entry! Between working & looking after my horses, it's hard to find the time! Anywho, I'm here now with a very overdue Paris haul, I hope you enjoy!
Me & my fabulous friends decided, spur of the moment, that we were going to do something crazy & book a spontaneous trip to the chicest city in the world, Le Paris. Alongside visiting the hotspots, including the beautiful Eiffel & stunning Louvre, the thing I was most excited about this trip was sampling some Parisian style & beauty, & it did not disappoint. Below are just a few of the things I hauled back over the border to tell you about!
Bioderma Solution Micellaire (Micellar Water)
Micellar Water, penned the holy grail of beauty products! I'd heard a little about Bioderma before my trip, but I'd never really known what it did or what all the hype was about, then I bought myself this little bottle (I think it was about six euros) & suddenly it all became clear. Micellar Water is renowned for removing all traces of make-up & impurities from the skin's surface, leaving it feeling refreshed & deeply cleansed, & the fact it contains no perfume or colourants means it's really gentle too, perfect for even the most sensitive of skins. When I first picked up the bottle, I doubted it's effectiveness; in the past, cleansers that I've chosen in the past have been tea tree or aloe based, & scented, but not this. However, I was amazed when I first used it as to how well it worked for me, removing all traces of make-up & leaving my skin feeling pure. I honestly cannot go into anymore depth as to to how good I find this product! It's just simply fantastic.
Paris have been the forerunners in creating cleansing waters, but the UK are catching up quickly - Another brand of Micellar Water I've used is Superdrug's 'B. Pure Micellar Water', which does just as good a job, whilst having spotted other big brands such as Garnier & L'Oreal jump on board with their own versions, so there's a bottle out there for everyone - If you haven't yet tried it, I'd highly suggest it, it's simply astounding, yet so perfectly simple!

Pores Be Pure Skin-Clarifying Mud Mask
This was the third & final beauty product that I purchased from Paris, & I must say it has to be my favourite too. It's a deeply cleansing & purifying mud mask which you can tell is working as soon as you put it on, warming your skin & drawing away impurities from any clogged pores you may have. It's quite thick, meaning you only need the smallest amount to cover your face & allow to work it's magic. It smells of strawberries with other other fruity undertones, yet it's not too overpowering. You're supposed to let it completely dry, which takes about 10-15 minutes, then rinse it off as you would any other mask, using clean warm water & patting your skin dry with a towel. I was amazed the first time I used this as it left my skin feeling thoroughly cleansed, but not dry or tight as many other masks I've used in the past have. All round, I'm giving this a 10/10!
Looking a little bit into the brand 'Formula 10.0.6' (one which I'd never come across, I must admit) I discovered a whole host of similar skin care products, which I've given the link for below. I'll certainly be looking to get my hands on some of their other products, it's just too good of an opportunity to miss!
