Autumn Beauty Saviours

So, it's getting to that time of year again where our skin is needing a little extra TLC as the nights draw in & the heating comes on; Our skin is often a little drier & more sensitive than usual due to the constant variation in temperature. Here are just a few products I've discovered recently to help banish the wintery blues & keep dry skin at bay!

Along Came Betty 'Say You Scrub Me'

This line is one I've discovered quite recently as I received a haul load of goodies for my birthday a month or so ago. Upon first glance, I honestly have to say thought it was 'Soap & Glory': The packaging is very similar in design & colour scheme, & the whole general design has a very 'Soap & Glory-esque' feel to it. Having had a little research into the brand, I later discovered it's actually from Tesco, which shocked me a little ~ To say I initially expected it to have been created by some of the health & beauty heavyweights, such as Superdrug or Boots, I was pleasantly surprised!

The product, having used it a couple of times, definitely does what it says on the tin; It exfoliates away any rough or dry skin, leaving it smooth & supple, yet, as I found with alot of body scrubs, it isn't too harsh or abrasive. It smells absolutely divine, a soft mandarin scent, which follows along the same lines as the rest of the products I received from the line. I have to say, this is a definite win if you want to keep your skin looking prepped & polished in the colder months!

Soap & Glory 'The Daily Smooth'

I have to say, prior to this Autumn, I was a 'Soap & Glory Virgin'; I'd never experienced any of the products, I hardly knew anything about the brand, yet I was always drawn towards their beautiful packaging & quirky taglines whenever out shopping. I finally took the plunge & asked for a selection of their goodies for my 20th, & I have to say, I'm in love. Everything, simply everything is simply spot on with this brand!

The first product I'm reviewing is their 'The Daily Smooth', a deliciously scented body butter which leaves your skin feeling nourished & hydrated from head to toe. It's fragranced with Bergamot, Blackcurrant & Magnolia, along with a whole host of other beautiful bits, which creates an absolutely divine scent, making it an absolute joy to wear! This is definitely going to be one of my winter essentials this year!

Neal's Yard Remedies 'Bee Lovely Hand Cream'

This cute little bottle was something I've only just recently discovered again after a while of using other products. I'd tucked it into the back of my drawers where it had lived for the past year, only re-appearing in the last few months. It has to honestly be one of my all time favourites in terms of keeping your hands deliciously soft throughout the colder spells. The main two ingredients are honey & orange oil, meaning it smells absolutely lovely, perfect as we head into the festive season ~ Orange has to be one of my favourite Christmas scents!

A good hand cream is one of my essentials for this time of year, as the skin tends to become dry & cracked if not cared for properly. The orange oil in this product leaves your skin feeling wonderfully cared for, working it's magic all day long meaning your hands stay soft & supple no matter what you're doing. Definitely a winter wonder product for this year! If you'd like to discover some more of these fabulous products, just click the link below!

Soap & Glory 'Endless Glove'

Yet another 'Soap & Glory' product, in the form of yet another hand cream; You can't keep me away! This time I opted for the hand moisture mask & cream, the 'Soap & Glory Endless Glove' {I can't get enough of the names!} & I'm smitten! It smells beautiful, hints of orange & green fig, again meaning it's perfect as we head into the colder months. It sinks into the skin instantly, & leaves it feeling soft & cared for. Another thing I love about this is that it can be used as a hand mask too; Just lather your hands in the product & slip on a pair of cotton gloves then relax, allowing the product to work it's magic; It's both a quick fix on the go, & as a more of a long term treat! Win win!

If you'd like to discover some more 'Soap & Glory' products, simply click the link below, or head into some of the larger Boots stores! You honestly won't be let down, & I think I'll definitely be adding 'Soap & Glory' to my Christmas wishlist!

Until next time,
