Festive Treats

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! I don't know about you, but I am oh-so excited about the season's festivities this year, I can barely contain myself! In the spirit of things, I thought I'd treat myself (& a few of my family & friends) to some cute little Christmas treats!

I had planned on looking at a variety of products to make up my little Christmas haul, but, as usual, the majority is skincare/cosmetic based, with just the odd little cheeky food item in there aswell! What can I say, eating & pampering are my two favourite things!

A whole fifty percent of this haul was Lush based, as I simply adore their Christmas range; I bagged myself a few luxury melts & a bath bomb, which, as expected, smell absolutely divine. I'm not going to go too deep into exactly what I bought, but I have to say the little polar bear & the noseless snowman (poor little thing!) are simply too cute not to get yourself this Christmas!

These charming little crackers are from M&S, & were an absolute steal at just £4! A perfect stocking filler, each little cracker contains a bath fizz, which will help fill your life with a little bit of Christmas cheer! They were simply too cute to pass up on!

These two little gems were absolute bargains, & perfectly Christmassy so, I had to grab them while I could! The first of the two is one of Barry M's Limited Edition Christmas nail paints, 'Christmas Tree'. I was drawn to this simply due to the beautifully festive colours: You can't beat a little bit of red, gold & green at Christmas! As I learnt the hard way, you do need to apply a base coat prior to using this, otherwise you don't get the full effect. I was too hasty, didn't read the instructions & my nails aren't looking too fab as a result! This particular paint is one of two new festive goodies from Barry M's nail collection, the other being yet another glittery top coat in 'Jingle Bells', a beautiful gold & red based glitter, again to be applied over the top of a base coat. They both RRP at just under £4, but are currently, as I write this, on offer; If you spend £6 on selected Barry M products, you get a festive polish thrown in for free! You really can't go wrong!

The second of the two is an adorable hot chocolate & marshmallow set from NewLook. I do think it was a one of, having looked online & not being able to find it now, so I am oh-so glad I got it when I did! The little glass jar, which also doubles as a mug, contains a packet of hot chocolate & marshmallows for those chilly winter mornings! It was just such a perfect idea for a pressie, & at £5, it would've been silly not to get! Now, just to pick who it goes to... Sadly, I don't think I'll get away with keeping it for myself... We'll see!
