Lush Haul ~ Christmas Time!

Hello everyone! As many of you know, I love a good Lush haul; whether it be bath bombs, skincare or soap, I'll always find an excuse to buy myself a few extra bits & pieces to add to my collection. As I'm sure you'll have read round about this time last year, one of the things I particularly like about this brand is their holiday ranges. With Christmas fast approaching, I thought it was time to get my hands on a few festive goodies to share with you all!

I always love discovering new products when it comes to my favourite brands, aswell as re-visiting some old regular buys of mine, so I was thrilled when I spotted some newbies alongside the few I recognised.

The first purchase of mine was an old fave, the gorgeous little 'Butterbear' bath bomb. Containing cocao butter, hence the name, meaning it leaves skin wonderfully soft & beautiful, yet still has the fizzing properties of bomb, so you really do get the best of both worlds. One of the things I love the most about Lush products are the scents, as they definitely pack a punch, & the Butterbear lathers your senses in a blanket of vanilla & sweetness, making it the perfect treat to end your day!

The next purchase in my haul was the 'Cinders' bath bomb, something which I've actually never bought for myself before. The thing that drew me to this was the smell; one of the things I adore most about the Christmas time in the influx of festive scents which appear once we hit the first of December, especially heady spices such as orange & mulled wine. The cinders bomb is a mix of spices & popping candy, making it a perfect pick me up for cold winter evenings. One of the things I've always adored about Lush products is the way they care for your skin & don't contain anything too harsh or abrasive, whether it be perfumes or colours, meaning skin's left feeling looked after, which is especially important in the chillier winter months!

One of my favourite buys from this particular haul was the absolutely gorgeous 'Magic of Christmas', a wonderful little star shaped bubble bar perched on the top of a cinnamon stick. The thing that caught my eye was how different it was to everything else on offer; the shape,the decoration {complete with red ribbon & bell!}, & the fact the cinnamon also doubles up as a handle, allowing you to stir it in your water & really make it bubbly! It is such a special little product, & I knew I couldn't pass up on it, especially not at Christmas!

Another newbie {I'd never seen it previously!} was another new favourite of mine! The 'Five Gold Rings' bubble bar, is exactly what you'd expect; five golden bubble bar rings hung on a piece of rope. The thing I loved the most about this little gem wasn't only the golden glitter it was dusted in {who doesn't love a bit of glitter?} but the fact you actually get five separate little pieces included in one purchase.   

My final purchase was an old favourite of mine, the 'Snow Angel' bath melt. As I mentioned earlier, winter can leave your skin feeling a little less that perfect, but the moisturising oils & cocoa butter in the bath melts leave skin feeling luxuriously soft & looked after. I adore everything about this little melt, from the gorgeous cocoa butter marshmallow smell, to the fact it's beautifully adorned in a sprinkle of festive gold glitter, leaving you feeling just that little extra bit Chirstmassy! I know for a fact this will always be a regular of mine once December comes round!
